Forward control land rover long wheel base, original overhead side valve six cylinder

motor.3speed gear box with PTO outlet fitted with under body winch, second gear box for spares, would have originally been Navy or Air Force vehicle, previous owner B & B lighting as the vehicle was fitted with a generator to

supply power for out back filming including the Crocodiles Dundee movies.

A rare vehicle with an interesting history and very restorable. $5850

Block and Tackle

Consists of a three and two pulley system regularly used to raise and lower heavy objects in to the loft of a ware house or farm barn, also to lift heavy objects from the ground on to bullock drays or horse drawn wagons.

Snig Chain

Short length of heavy steel chain with a ring at one end and a large hook at the other end. Used by a bullocky

(bullock driver of a bullock team) to snig (drag) heavy

timber from the forest to a loading dump, prior to being loaded on to the bullock dray and taken to the timber mill.

Bollocky’s Chain Dog

Also know as a load binder, using the over centre pivot and the long handle (often extended by placing a piece of pipe over it) to tighten the chains on a dray load of logs or other general loads of goods that need to be secured
